My mother was diagnosed with Dementia-Alzheimer's about 6 years ago. Boy, how I hate those words. Roles have reversed and the child has become the mother . . . a sad day in my life! But, we found Bright Horizons. It took some getting use to. Now mother now goes 5 days a week and has found comfort in a world that for a while had none for her.

There are "field trips" for those able and willing to go . . . the staff is great, kind and patient . . . But, most importantly . . . she's happy again! She looks forward to going everyday to see her other family . . . And I have the comfort of knowing that I'm doing all that I can to help her.
